Meet our Maryland Divorce Attorneys

Courtenay is a senior associate attorney with Cynthia H. Clark & Associates LLC and has almost 20 years of family law and general civil practice experience throughout the State of Maryland. As an attorney with Cynthia H. Clark & Associates, LLC, she continues to assist clients across Maryland.

While completing her undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a course in mass communication and the law inspired Courtenay to study law at the University of Baltimore. She joined the family law association and after interning one summer for the Honorable Judge Ruth A. Jakubowski of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Courtenay realized her passion and interest was in practicing family law.

Understands the Emotional and Sensitive Nature

Courtenay understands the emotional and sensitive nature of those matters her clients come to her with for representation. “Family law matters are the most sensitive and tumultuous that one can experience. I believe in handling each individual matter with compassion and with the goal of obtaining the most beneficial outcome for my clients and their respective families.”

Courtenay has many interests and hobbies in which she actively engages, including participation in activities to benefit local animal shelters and the Anne Arundel County SPCA. She was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland, and resides with her son and two rescue dogs, Wallace and Ace.
